Trees reinstated on Upper Ground

Trees taken out without consent during building works have been put back.

Trees removed without consent during development on Upper Ground have been reinstated.

Residents reported it. I took it to Lambeth’s planning enforcement team, and officers got the trees replaced through talks with the people responsible for the works.

Street trees are part of how the neighbourhood looks and feels. They give shade and support wildlife. I will keep asking the council to enforce planning conditions when they are broken.
