We have been informed by Lambeth’s arboricultural team that the mature cherry tree near the corner of Hercules Road and Sidford Place is due to be removed in the coming weeks following a recent inspection. The tree has extensive stem decay caused by Ganoderma fungus, and officers have advised that it can no longer be safely retained. A notice will be displayed on the tree before works take place. If residents have any questions, please let us know and we will pass them on to the council team
