I’ve just met with officers from Lambeth Council’s parks department to discuss St Mary’s Gardens and Archbishop’s Park, including concerns raised by residents.

Officers assured me that they are doing their best to keep both parks well maintained, with regular bin collections to help keep them clean and free of rubbish.

We also discussed the equipment needing repair in the playground at Archbishop’s Park. Officers are seeking further funding to get these repairs carried out as soon as possible, and I will continue pressing for progress.

Our parks are much-loved spaces for local families and the wider community. I will keep working with officers to ensure residents’ concerns are addressed properly and promptly.

Please continue to share any issues you spot so I can raise them with the team. You can contact me at [email protected].
