York House, the block on Carlisle Lane, SE1 7LE, has had a first round of improvements after residents raised security, antisocial behaviour and the state of communal areas.
I arranged a walkabout with residents and the housing provider. What was agreed, and done, includes stronger fencing around an area used for antisocial behaviour, extra wayfinding signs, and jet-washing of communal areas.
Still being pursued: more cleaning, repairs to damaged spots, better signs, and possibly automated gates. I will keep going until those are dealt with.
